Sunbonnet Crib Spread
61701Cc Sunbonnet CRIB Spread Pink, pastel prints 75.00
38” x 68” 1920s, found in northern Michigan, maker unknown. Six rectangular pattern blocks (9” x 12”) on white muslin are set alternately with plain squares to form the design field, two pattern blocks to each lengthwise row. The Sunbonnet figures have plain pink hats, arms, and feet, and the dresses are six different small scale pastel floral prints. The blocks are sashed and separated by narrow pink bias tape sewn on with topstitching over the joining seams. The bias tape also frames the design field and edges the 5” scalloped border. Good condition.
